The original version on the 7inch is, I think, the most miserable and poor pissant song Boyracer ever commited to vinyl. I could pull the "I was young and stupid"... card, as I often do, but really, what was I thinking. This version is actually a pretty good. Speed it up and stick a fuzz bass on it and its actually works. Vocals done in one take, actually everything apart from the drums was one take. (drums where maybe 3 or 4 takes FYI). The drums are always the most impotant thing. Get them right and you can add the most unforgivable drunken slop over the top of it. Which, as you know, I've made a career of...
